Car A/C repair in Pensacola & Pace
Warm air, weak air, or no air: we diagnose and fix car air conditioning at your home or work.
Oilrun comes to your home or workplace in Pensacola or Pace, finds out why the air isn't cold, and fixes it on-site, including compressor and condenser replacement.
Signs something's wrong
- Air that's cool but not cold, or cold while driving and warm at idle.
- A/C that works for a while, then blows warm.
- Weak airflow from the vents even on high.
- A rattle, grind, or squeal when the A/C is switched on.
- A musty smell, or water on the passenger floor.
What we do on-site
We start by checking system pressures and the compressor clutch, then look for the leak, because a system that's low on refrigerant leaked it somewhere. We use UV dye and an electronic detector to trace leaks to the condenser, hoses, o-rings, or evaporator. Common repairs we do on-site include compressor replacement, condenser replacement (very common after a small front-end hit or road debris), expansion valves and orifice tubes, pressure switches, blower motors and resistors for airflow problems, and cabin air filters. After any repair that opens the system we replace the receiver-drier or accumulator, pull a vacuum to remove moisture, and recharge to the exact weight the vehicle calls for.

FAQ
Common questions
Can you just top off the refrigerant?
Yes, we do A/C recharges. If the system is low, it usually has a leak, so a recharge alone may not last. We'll tell you what we find and quote both options, and you decide.
Why does my A/C go warm at stoplights?
Usually a condenser that isn't getting enough airflow (a failed fan or clogged fins) or a compressor that's getting weak. Both show up in a pressure test.
Does the compressor always need replacing?
No. A compressor that won't engage can be a bad relay, a pressure switch, or simply low refrigerant. We test before we quote.
